#1000 acre club
Here at Guardians of the Bees, we have big ambitions to create 1000 acres of pollinator habitats across Wales.
We are dedicating some of our farmland in the heart of Wales. We will be creating wildflower meadows specifically planted for the benefit of pollinators. We have in recent years been planting and regenerating over 930 meters of hedgerows.
Our ambition is to allow others to register their 3m squares using the My3Word app mapping system. To achieve this we will need 149,000 square to be registered across Wales.
You can help us achieve this target by becoming a Guardian, sponsoring a pack for a Welsh school, or purchasing a recovery kit to plant your very own 3m square in your garden at home or workplace.
If you are a like-minded farmer or land manager please get in touch for further information on how to get involved on a larger scale to help us achieve our aim for wildlife-friendly habitats.
